v3.0.0-rc.1 / source RC published

Agents move fast.
Authority should not.

Room0 is the trust layer between human intent and agent execution. It makes consequential work signed, policy-checked, replay-safe, constrained, and auditable. The v3 candidate turns that control plane into a retrievable composition for external design-partner evaluation.

v3.0.0-rc.1

A solid state we can name, inspect, and return to.

Room0 v3 is the product-level identity for a source-verified control-plane composition. RC1 is the first official source candidate for external design-partner evaluation; its tag and live alpha entry are deliberately separate decisions.

01 / Composition

Eight exact source pins.

Platform, model adapters, primitives, Core, Gateway, Hypervisor, Studio, and CLI—locked together as one reviewable product release.

02 / Source stamp

Corrections, then proof.

Three bounded corrections are merged. Internal train 0.207.1 passed exact eight-pin verification and is preserved by the immutable v3.0.0-rc.1 tag.

03 / Alpha entry

A separate operational gate.

Deployed identity, representative Amelia and World Forge journeys, monitoring, and a proven rollback remain required before external access begins.

BoundaryPlugins, WorldSim, World Forge source, and Amelia state are not part of the v3 RC1 train.

01 / Why Room0

Automation grew faster than accountability.

Agent frameworks help models do more. Room0 answers the harder question: under whose authority, inside which boundaries, with what durable proof?

Trust

Actors hold authority.

Models are replaceable runtimes. Identity, policy, and accountability attach to real actors and signed intent.

Control

Every gate fails closed.

Approval is not a shortcut. Execution still passes kill, policy, replay, constraint, persistence, and audit checks.

Evidence

The record outlives the prose.

Committed state, governed deliverables, and append-only audit form the system of record—not the agent's narration.

02 / How it works

A deterministic path from intent to evidence.

Room0 sits around execution. It does not teach an agent how to think; it decides whether a proposed action may run and records what actually happened.

  1. 01
    Signature

Who asked, and was the intent signed?

  2. 02
    Kill switch

    Is execution globally permitted?

  3. 03
    Policy

Does this actor have this authority?

  4. 04
    Replay

Has this intent already been consumed?

  5. 05
    Constrain

What can the runtime actually touch?

  6. 06
    Persist

    Did terminal state land durably?

  7. 07
    Audit

Can a human reconstruct the run?
